Lead Paints and TCLP Lead Testing
- Lead Paint testing per EPA'S Renovation, Repair, and Painting Final Rule
- (Published April 22, 2008, under the authority of the Toxic Substances Control Act -section 402© (3) of TCSA)
- After April 22, 2010, the final rule addresses lead-based paint hazards created by renovation, repair, and painting activities that disturb lead-based paint in "target housing" and "child-occupied facilities".
- Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) Lead testing may be required for some demolition projects.
Reporting
- A written AHERA survey report will typically be complete within 5 working days after the on-site visit, survey, and sampling. Again, the sample analyses and report generation can be expedited for an additional fee, as we do provide rush services.
